Donate / Sponsor a Student

Support student access through Louisville Fund A Student Foundation with clear stewardship, privacy protection, and nonprofit boundaries.

Donate / Sponsor a Student

Donor support can help students keep moving when practical barriers threaten education, training, completion, or workforce entry. LFAS organizes charitable giving around student dignity, donor trust, and careful stewardship.

Ways Support May Help

  • Scholarship-style student support where funds are available and approved.
  • Books, kits, tools, learning materials, and education-continuity needs.
  • Testing, licensing-preparation, transportation, or emergency support when aligned with foundation policy.
  • Public education and advocacy around affordability, completion, and access.

Donor Stewardship

LFAS should treat giving as a trust. That means clear purpose, careful records, privacy protection, responsible boundaries, and honest communication about what charitable support can and cannot do.

Important Donation Boundary

A gift to LFAS does not guarantee that a specific student will receive support, that any student will be admitted to a school, that any student will graduate, become licensed, obtain employment, or receive a particular outcome. Student support depends on available funds, documentation, eligibility review, mission fit, and foundation approval.

Tax language should be confirmed through the foundation’s current status, official receipts, and the donor’s own tax advisor. This website does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice.

Next Step
