Donor Stewardship Promise

LFAS donor stewardship principles for clear purpose, careful boundaries, student dignity, and responsible public trust.

Donor Stewardship Promise

Donor trust matters because student access work depends on disciplined generosity. LFAS’s donor stewardship promise is to communicate clearly, protect student dignity, and avoid claims that charitable support cannot responsibly make.

What Donors Should Expect

  • Clear language about LFAS’s student-access mission and support boundaries.
  • Careful distinction between charitable support and guaranteed outcomes.
  • Respect for student privacy in public storytelling and impact communication.
  • Purpose-centered use of gifts consistent with LFAS’s mission and available records.
  • Public language that supports trust without overstating results, eligibility, or tax consequences.

What LFAS Will Not Promise

LFAS will not promise that a donation creates a specific scholarship award, admission decision, graduation result, licensure outcome, employment result, tax treatment, legal treatment, or government decision. Donors should consult their own qualified advisors for tax, legal, or financial questions.

No Guarantee Statement

LFAS does not guarantee scholarships, admission, graduation, licensure, employment, tax treatment, legal treatment, or outcomes. Support depends on available funds, documentation, review, mission fit, and foundation approval.
